An honest log of what we've changed. If you find a new error or something out of date, please write in — I'll correct it and add it here.

  1. 2026-07-03

Corrected the fee tier threshold to $340 and added the current 50%-off promotion

After re-checking the current official terms we corrected the platform-fee tier threshold to $340 (not the $350 written earlier): about $0.34 (fixed) per order up to $340, about 0.1% above $340. We also added that Binance is running a 50%-off platform-fee promotion through 2026-08-31 — during it, about $0.17 up to $340 and about 0.05% above; base rates resume when it ends. All copy and the calculators are updated; go by Binance current terms.

  2. 2026-07-01

Platform fee changed from "just $0.35" to two tiers

Early on we wrote the non-US platform fee for buying US stocks as only "about $0.35 per order", which is wrong for larger orders. After cross-checking we settled on two tiers: about $0.34 (fixed) for orders up to $340, and about 0.1% above $340 (for example about $1 on a $1,000 order, about $10 on a $10,000 order), plus possible ADR fees and dividend withholding tax. All copy and the calculators now use the two-tier figure; go by Binance current terms.

Added the tested note that the US-stocks entry is hidden on the Simplified-Chinese interface

Early guides didn't mention it: the Binance US-stocks feature currently shows only under the Traditional Chinese interface, and the entry is hidden on the Simplified-Chinese one. After confirming, we added a note to the relevant how-to pages — you have to switch the app display language to Traditional Chinese for the "traditional finance / stocks" module to appear. Go by Binance current terms.

  4. 2026-06-30

Added a per-order platform-fee footnote to "zero commission"

  5. 2026-06-30

bStocks changed from "live" to "not the same as shares, and terms and availability may change"

The first draft described tokenized bStocks as a done deal. On review we corrected it: bStocks are tokenized securities, not on-register shares, and their terms, availability, and regulatory treatment may change. The whole site now defers to the current official wording plus a verification date, and stresses issuer/counterparty, liquidity, and regulatory risks.
